Volunteers Get out the Vote

Retirees from the Baltimore Teachers Union phone-banked for candidates supported and endorsed by AFL-CIO. The retirees manned the phones at the AFT-Maryland Headquarters in Baltimore.

Calls were made to ensure that registered voters committed to voting for candidates that would support workers’ rights and collective bargaining. It was one of many days of phone banking in an effort to get out the vote for the upcoming November election.

MHFT Newsletter -- September 25, 2014

Taste of Morgan Hill

MHFT will have a booth at the Taste of Morgan Hill this Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28 from 9:30-6:30 each day. We will be promoting our schools and supporting our endorsed candidates. We are asking each school to cover one 2-hour shift (which can be divided among several teachers). Please see your building rep to sign up for your site. If all of us do a little, none of us will need to do it all!
