AAUP/AFT-Wisconsin Joint Statement on Wisconsin Biennial Budget

The AAUP and AFT-Wisconsin stand together in condemning the attacks on higher education that the Wisconsin Legislature included in its biennial budget, which Governor Walker signed into law last Monday. Negotiations Update #9

Dear Colleagues,

As reported in our last negotiations update, N-MFT's bargaining team rejected what the District presented to us as their Last, Best, and Final offer on June 16, 2015. Since then, N-MFT leadership has addressed the School Board twice regarding our concerns with the District's Last, Best, and Final offer.

Baltimore at AFT TEACH 2015

The three-day conference featured a number of panels, workshops, plenary sessions, and town halls all organized around the idea of improving the quality of public education for the nation's young people.
