MPEC Steward Training October 2019

AFT-Maryland at AFT Civil, Human, and Women's Rights Conference 2019

Unions and social justice have gone hand-in-hand for decades. Any organization that’s committed to democracy and fairness in the workplace would logically work to ensure that the rights of all people are upheld. AFT is no different, and the Civil, Human, and Women’s Rights Committee is the arm of the union that works on these issues specifically.

    New Dental Benefit

    Note to all Retirees,

Recently all members of the Wisconsin Retirement System should have received a mailing from Delta Dental regarding a new program which allows all members of the WRS to participate in the state insurance pool for dental insurance. Because of the much larger risk pool members may find the rates lower than other plans which are available, however open enrollment for the new plan closes on October 25.

Any retirees who may be interested in this new dental offering can call Delta Dental at 844-337-8383 or visit for more information if you misplaced the original mailing. Again, open enrollment ends October 25, so those who may be interested in investigating this new program need to do so soon.
